Cauke is a province in Vietnam that has been badly hit by the covid-19 pandemic. In order to help them in terms of digitalisation. Interactive Design ITE, collaborated with School of digital creation and animation, SZPT to develop a website to help explain the Cauke culture and to generate awareness of that region and hopefully drive sales for their cultural products.
Harry is the NGO from Vietnam that is helping us to coordinate and facilitate our meetings with the villagers. On top of creating the website, lesson plans were also created by the students to help teach the villagers basic scirpting knowledge so they are equip to do basic maintenance to their own website. For e.g. the update of images and text.
Students who have worked on this project have learnt not only the technical aspect of building the website but also the importance of lesson preparation and commuicating with villagers whose first language is not English.
